Our specialty is providing physio treatment to those with sport, gym and fitness related muscle and joint injuries. Our purpose is to specifically target and hone our training and our skills to effectively assess and treat you if you have suffered an injury as a result of your sport or health and fitness program.
HOW IS A SPORTS PHYSIO DIFFERENT?
Sports physios have had extensive extra training in the area of muscle and joint injury assessment and management, with a focus on those occurring while playing sport or during physical activity. This sports physio qualification usually requires extra study at university level learning from experts in the field. At ProSport Physio, we are qualified Sports Physios, and with this extra training and experience, you can be certain you will get the best possible outcome in the treatment of your problem or injury.

Kris Krotiris | APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist
Kris is a sports physio with expertise in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. He has developed a thorough approach in the assessment and treatment of sport related injuries, and is skilled in creating rehabilitation and performance programs that are specific to the needs of each individual. Kris has worked in private practice and with sporting teams as a physio and fitness coach for a number of years, and he uses his knowledge and experience to effectively assess and treat the injuries he sees in the clinic and on the sporting field.
Kris has supplemented his experience by completing a Master of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, where he was awarded the Brooks and Marie Hammond Prizes for the highest academic achievement of all students for that year. During this extra study, he was able to further refine his skills in assessment and management of all muscle and joint injuries, guided by world renown physiotherapists and researchers. He has also studied a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement and Health Studies), giving him a thorough understanding of sports science and prescription of exercise to improve health and performance.
