Kris Krotiris

APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist

Kris is a sports physiotherapist with expertise in musculoskeletal and sports injury management. He has developed a thorough approach in the assessment and treatment of all work and sport related injuries, and is skilled in creating rehabilitation and performance programs that are specific to the needs of each individual. He has a particular interest in the management of hip, groin, knee, low back and shoulder injuries.

Kris has worked in private practice and with elite sporting teams for a number of years, and he uses his knowledge and experience to effectively assess and treat the injuries he sees in the clinic and on the sporting field. In addition to his work in the clinic and with sporting teams, he has also been involved in pain science research, having presented at the NOI International Neuromatrix and Neurodynamics Conference where he was involved in the research and demonstration of concepts aimed at improving understanding of the brain's role in creating pain experiences.

Kris has supplemented his experience by completing a Master of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, where he was awarded the Brooks and Marie Hammond Prizes for the highest academic achievement of all students for that year. During this extra study, he was able to further refine his skills in assessment and management of all muscle and joint injuries, guided by world renown physiotherapists and researchers.
