Google reviews privacy
Updated 20 October 2026
This page explains the Google reviews feature on the ProSport Physio website and the owner-only Google connection used to supply it. It does not describe the clinic's handling of treatment records. Please contact the clinic directly with questions about your care or clinical records.
Information used by the reviews feature
The feature displays public Google review information: reviewer display names, star ratings, review text and dates, together with the clinic's average rating and review count supplied by Google. It shows a recent selection across all star ratings, with a link to Google where visitors can read the full set of reviews.
The website keeps a limited private copy of recent review information to display the feature efficiently. Displayed review data expires after 24 hours unless refreshed from Google. Refreshing replaces the previous copy; expired data is not served to visitors.
The clinic's Google connection
The Google connection is for the clinic's authorised account manager. Visitors do not need to sign in to Google or grant access to their Google accounts to use our website.
Google's Business Profile authorisation scope permits management operations as well as reading information. Our reviews integration uses it to identify the clinic's account and location and read reviews. It does not edit business listings, create posts or reply to reviews.
Connection credentials are kept in private server files outside the public website directory. They are not included in website pages or sent to website visitors. The reviews integration does not sell Google account data or use it for advertising.
Your choices
Review cards load from our website when you reach the reviews section. You can also use the direct Google reviews link. Google Maps and links to Google are provided by Google; its privacy policy explains how Google handles information when you use its services.
The clinic's account manager can disconnect the integration by revoking its access in Google account connections, disabling the connection and removing the private review cache and scheduled refresh. Reviews themselves are managed on Google, rather than through this website.
